Our service pricing start at a minimum of $300 for jobs in easily accessible areas, which can include multiple small stumps located near our vehicles resulting in minimal time onsite and clean up.

With our extensive range of machinery, stump grinding can be quite affordable, with prices ranging from $20 to several hundred dollars. Costs depend on the size, type, accessibility, and work required, particularly for larger stumps and big palms that necessitate moving substantial volumes of mulch to provide a quality grind.

We provide a fixed cost for the entire job. The more stumps you have, the greater the discount we can offer.

Most jobs typically fall between $300 and $800, though this is not indicative of your specific job. Please contact us for a free quote.

We strive to offer the most competitive pricing possible. However, any factors that slow down our work will increase the cost. To help keep prices down, we recommend the following:

  • Ensure quick access by removing any gates or fences that might obstruct our equipment.
  • Clear rocks away from the stumps.
  • Cut stumps as close to the ground as possible.

If needed, we can assist with moving rocks, removing gates or fences, and cutting stumps shorter. Please note that these additional services will increase the overall cost.

For example, a stump located near the front of the driveway with no obstructions will cost significantly less than a stump of the same size located in a more challenging area, such as:

  • A house with narrow or no side access
  • Up a flight of stairs
  • Areas with access restrictions due to hot water systems, poles, or air conditioners
  • Raised garden beds
  • Significant slopes

None of these factors limit our ability to complete the work; they simply require more time and specialized machinery.

Frequently Asked Stump Grinding Questions

Stump Removal Sunshine Coast

Why can a slightly larger stump cost so much more to remove?

When comparing the sizes of two stumps, the change in radius from 50cm to 75cm represents a 150% increase.

A 150% increase in radius results in a 525% increase in area. This means that the larger 75cm stump has five times more volume of timber than the smaller one at 50cm the same height above the ground.

Consequently, removing or processing larger stumps requires considerably more time and effort due to the increased volume of wood.

Why we do not operate off hourly rates.

Our priority is ensuring that your stump removal experience is efficient, effective, and transparent.

Hourly rates can sometimes lead to uncertainty for both you and us. Factors such as varying machine speeds and the complexity of each job make it challenging to provide accurate estimates upfront. Instead, we tailor our approach to your specific needs, taking into account the unique circumstances of your stump removal project.

Our fleet includes a range of machinery, each suited to different tasks and environments. From our robust, high-capacity grinders to more nimble options, we select the most appropriate equipment based on factors like accessibility and terrain. This careful consideration helps us work smarter, not harder, saving you time and money in the process.

By avoiding hourly rates, and fixed service pricing we can focus on delivering results that meet your expectations while keeping costs manageable. You can trust that we’ll always choose the most cost-effective solution without sacrificing quality or efficiency. With us, you can confidently reclaim your space, knowing that you’re getting the best value for your investment.
